Rated 5 out of 5 by WORTH THE MONEY I know not everyone has enough trees to consider a purchase of this product. But if you do, trust someone with 22 years of experience with yard care. I just purchased this product, trimmed a tree like a joke. Took 10xs longer to move the brush to the truck. Wish I would've got 1 years ago, would've made my work easier and gave me abilities to reach out, and pick up jobs I have had to turn down in the past. I borrowed a cheap off brand from a co-worker, and I decided I wanted a pole pruner, but I was ready for for a Stihl. I also have Stihl trimmer, blower, chainsaw, & tiller. July 22, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Super easy to use and very sharp. Saves me lots of time by not needing a ladder. Very efficient. June 12, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by The product is awesome ! I purchased the pruner to clear the back yard of our new house of all the dead trees and broken branches and to clear the underside of the remaining trees. This pruner has enough reach to clear from grade to over 16 feet above grade. It rips through all of the dead trees like butter and makes the task so much easier. It takes some time to get used to the weight distribution, highly recommend the use of the shoulder harness. The weight balance is good as I have used it for periods of an hour or so without a break and the my arms still had strength left in them to clear the cuttings from the ground. For the homeowner who has trees, I would highly recommend this tool. May 7, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Dependable starting and cuts very well Have used 10 hours plus on trees damaged by tornados in Rio Vista Tx and 8 hours plus tree trimming for City of McKinney Tx community clean up and it cuts well and strong May 3, 2015

Rated 4 out of 5 by Love the saw but have some issues For cutting, I love this saw; haven't found one that cuts better. The only problem I've had with it is the boom keeps coming un attached from the shaft (it literally pulls out); it's happened 4 times in the 3 years I've owned it. Not an easy fix. Usually requires a trip to the shop. April 3, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Best "chainsaw on a stick" that I have ever owned or used. We try to maintain over 200 oak trees on our place. Over the past 10 years or so, I have gone through several "cheap" pruners and chainsaws. We were spending as much time working on the tools as we were working with them. The HT 131 is heavy as compared to the others, but it is a lot more heavy duty and does not require near the maintenance. We are very satisfied with the tool and recommend it to anyone who wants a tool that will work with you and get the job done. April 2, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by worth the price "The bitterness of poor quality remains long after the sweetness of low price is forgotten." This quote sums up this saw perfectlyTo trim tree branches around our farm, our family has always used Stihl chainsaws while standing in a tractor bucket. After reading the reviews for the 131 pole saw and talking to our local dealer, we decided to give one a try. This has been an excellent decision. I can trim a large tree in a 1/4 of the time as using a tractor and chainsaw. The saw makes quick work of limbs of any size. I have cut limbs up to 18" in diameter. I have learned that on large limbs that are 10" diameter or more that if you make a small cut on the bottom of the limb that it does not pinch or bind as bad. The only down side to the 131 is the weight of the saw. It tends to become cumbersome after 2-3 trees. I also found that if you go to smaller dealers you tend to get better pricing on Stihl.
